Reviews about Stater Bros. Markets
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆May 09, 2020, by The Old ManHere is a list of problems I've had associated with this Stater Bros store. 1. Moldy Potatoes multiple visits 2. Jalapeno Cheese bread underdone causing diarrhea. 3. Multiple items open upon inspection at home on multiple occasions. 4. Over priced and Monopoly on Tri-Community. Not only is WinCo, Wal-Mart, Viartta, Food 4 Less, and other grocery stores cheaper but they have much better customer service! 5.Customer service- On multiple occasions I've had poor customer service. I will list my last exspierience. I went to get a fountain drink and the employee told me that some drinks weren't working. I asked is Dr. Pepper available. She states yes. I go to get ice and there is none. Further more there is no Dr. Pepper available. When I ask the employee for a $1 refund she states "I have to go through a line to get a refund". I approach the cashier and explain. She refuses to assist me until her line dies down. She hands me a piece of paper that ask for my personal information. D.L. # home address, email, fax number, etc. I refused to give them my personal information and requested a manager. By this time 10 minutes into my milk sitting I get my $1 back. The lady was rude and didn't understand customer service like most there racist workers there. 6. Racism- You won't see any black or asian people working at Stater Bros Phelan, Ca until this review gets left. They relocated the only young black man to a Stater Bros on Main St. In Hesperia around 4 months ago. The employees are more than happy to talk politics and throw Donald Trump in your face. They told my wife last week basically they can't wait for Trump to take cash aid away from wel-fare because it clogs up there line. Good job Bonnie I'm sure if your house burned down in the Blue Cut you might need a little assistance. 7. Blue Cut Fire- After the fire vouchers for food were given to victims. Having hungry children after a fire can drive a father mad. I went into there store late at night. Got the food we needed. Rung Everything up and to my surprise they denied me and said the voucher was only good for a Victorville store. Not having any food I pleased with the older male manager who has glasses. He kept denying me. I had to get on my knees and beg him with tears on my eyes to accept the voucher. Even then he denies me. At one point I say if my children can't eat after we lost everything in the fire than call the sheriff. Can you imagine this? Loosing everything in a natural disaster. Hungry children with nothing. A father on his knees begging a Stater Bros manager to help me with something I had already been given? The vouchers were always bought by a third party and they never provided and fire victims with free groceries. Corporation- A corporation doesn't care about your community. They suck you into thinking they do by offering jobs to locals. In return we see the same faces and shop where are friends and family work. They will be interactive with local program's and school events. This is a part of tricking the consumer into paying twice and sometimes even more for the same items you can buy from a local competitor. Don't buy into these tactics. The Tri- Community needs to boycott this establishment until a more fair equally opportunity employer comes to this community! I save at least $100 a month shopping elsewhere and only go to this racist store when I absolutely need to. These are the God's honest truths about this establishment! We simply need someone to put a different grocery store here that doesn't present or allow this type of bad behavior to exsist. A grocery store that hires Blacks and Asians. A grocery store that will help it's community members who lost everything in a natural disaster. A grocery store that offers the same items but much cheaper! I'm Shawn Polly a resident of Phelan, Ca and I'm tired of the lack of respect from companies and organizations in Phelan, Ca! It's time for the community to put racism in the past. I long for the local churches to live up to what they preach! The time is now and it starts with you!
